Numbing cream is not something I recommend my clients use. However, if you’re absolutely sure you do want to use numbing cream and have done your own research, I allow clients to use Emla or Ametop ONLY.
Details MUST be completed on the consent form.
It is the client’s full responsibility to do their own research on all aspects of the numbing cream, purchase it, do a patch test, and apply it themselves before the appointment.
Please read all of the information below and contact me if you are still considering using numbing cream
Patch test - needs to be done at least 72 hours before appointment on an area near where the tattoo is going but not directly on the area where the tattoo is going just in case there is a reaction
If there are any signs of a reaction when I observe the area, I reserve the right to refuse to do the tattoo. In this case your deposit will be forfeited. Details are on the consent form of rebooking and a new deposit.
There is no guarantee the cream will work or work for long
I, Colly Bop Ink, as an individual or business, will not be held responsible for any adverse effects, either before, during the tattooing process, or while the tattoo is healing.

If you have an access requirement, please contact me via email or Facebook, and we can have a chat regarding your specific access needs.

-
I ask that everyone comes to their appointment alone. This is because:
There isn’t enough room in my studio for more than myself and my client (you)
The waiting area needs to be as clear as possible for other customers. There are six of us working at Studio 100 so sometimes there are a few customers waiting
Put bluntly, it’s boring for tag-alongs and with our locked door policy I don’t want to be stopping work to let people in and out to go get coffee/snacks/etc if they are bored!
Exceptions:
Medical reason. If there is a medical reason why you need someone to come with you then please let me know and we can make specific arrangements to accommodate this
Service animal. If you need a service animal with you then please let me know in advance and we can discuss and make reasonable adjustments. These might be:
Bring someone along to sit with the animal while you are having your tattoo done

You can absolutely change your mind on what tattoo you’re having! It’s important to me that you are happy with what you choose, and that you have chosen carefully.
There are a few key practical details listed below to consider when changing your design. And how it works with your deposit when you change your design.
Please do read carefully!
The new design you want must be available (ie not SOLD on the website)
There may be a fee incurred to cover extra admin time to change a design
How does it work if I’ve paid a deposit on the original design I chose? Not to worry! Let’s break it down:
You had a large design and have chosen something smaller. The original deposit you paid for the large design covers the cost of the new smaller tattoo. In this case there will still be a fee to pay on the day, as there has been significant admin time to change things in the background (small business owners will understand!). Plus there has been a period of loss for the original larger design that you bought, meaning no one else could buy it.

Deposits cannot be transferred to another design or refunded. This is because they are partly proportional to the amount of time booked out in my diary to cover the original design.

I want to reassure you that I don’t use any AI for the creation of any of my tattoo designs or the content you see of my work online.
And because I value human art and human artists (as I am sure you do too!) I want to keep AI out of my business, and away from my designs.
To help me do this I ask you to respect me and my art by doing the following:
I kindly ask that you don’t input my designs or photos/videos of my work into any AI search engine. This is because AI learns from what it is given and I would like to protect my hand drawn artwork from being recreated by AI.
There are a magnitude of reasons why this is not good, and we can have a good chinwag on them when you’re in my chair if ya fancy!
Thank you for taking the time to read this and respecting my request.

I will provide you with exactly what you need. I have a few different brands and types of aftercare and I will advise you on which one will be best for you and your tattoo.
Don’t worry yourself about buying anything. If you have allergies or concerns about what I have available drop me a message explaining your situation and I’ll advise you on the best course of action.

I do not charge for touch ups under most circumstances, however I will say if I don’t think it needs it.
If you think your tattoo needs some touch ups please get in touch with a photo of what you think needs a little more attention and I’ll have a look and see if it’s necessary getting you back into the studio.
Sometimes there are minor flaws in a tattoo which are better off left alone to avoid worse inconsistencies in the tattoo by going over them/adding more.
I do not touch up other artists work.
Touch ups are free within a year of the tattooing being done. After 1 year there will be a charge for the work.

all tattoo info and aftercare here
If you have any questions after reading this then please get in touch
BEFORE YOUR TATTOO
I won't tattoo sunburnt/peeling skin.
I won't tattoo you if you're unwell or taking antibiotics.
I do not tattoo breastfeeding or pregnant women.
If the area where the tattoo is going has any cuts, scratches or bruising I may not be able to do the tattoo.
If you turn up to your appointment using a numbing cream which has not been previously discussed and agreed on I won't be able to do your tattoo.
These are all things which may result in your tattoo appointment being cancelled and deposit forfeited. You would need to then pay a new deposit to rebook.
Please let me know if you are taking any medication or will be during the time of your appointment. Also please let me know if you have any health conditions which may affect getting a tattoo, for example any skin complaints, being prone to fainting, hyper sensitive skin, epilepsy.
Please come alone to your tattoo appointment. We do not have space for others to be present. Unless something has been agreed prior and there is good reason for anyone else to accompany you to your appointment tag alongs will be turned away.
Bring sufficient refreshments if you're having long sitting.
We do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18. Please bring photo ID to your appointments. You may be asked for it.
Payments on the day can be made via bank transfer or cash. I do not have a card machine.
AFTER YOUR TATTOO
While your tattoo is healing there are things you should not do. For example, getting it in the sun, putting spf on it, going in the sea, rivers, pools, hot tubs and any other water that isn't a 10 minute shower. Heat, sweat and sand are also not good for a healing tattoo.
The aftercare instructions are below. It is the responsibility of the individual getting tattooed to care for the tattoo.
Tattoo Aftercare
Remove clingfilm after 1-2hrs (unless otherwise advised or unless you are unable to remove until later).
Do not touch your tattoo or let anyone else touch your tattoo while it's fresh.
Keep your tattoo dry for the first 24hrs (if tattoo has excess ink and blood on it when you remove the clingfilm rinse the tattoo with warm water, pat dry with clean towel or kitchen roll and then keep dry for 24hrs).
Apply cream 1-2 times per day with clean hands. Only use cream recommended by your tattooist. Do not use any other products, ie fake tan, moisturiser, spf etc while healing.
Avoid getting your tattoo very wet while healing. (ie take short, 10 min showers).
Avoid swimming, saunas, hot tubs, extreme exercise, and sun exposure while your tattoo is healing.
Do not pick or scratch your tattoo.
Keep pets and animals away from your tattoo. And keep your tattoo away from anything that could have pet hair/dirt on.
Please get in touch if there's anything you're unsure about or if your tattoo doesn't seem to be healing well. We use sterile needles, inks and all other equipment but there are many things that can affect the healing process (ie tight clothing, touching the tattoo with unclean hands etc) so please let us know if there's anything you need checking.

If you have a tattoo booked and deposit paid and you find out you’re pregnant just let me know as soon as you can and I’ll hold your deposit for you for up to 2 years.
-
Deposits are safe for up to 9 months from the date it was paid. You pay the deposit when you make your first appointment
If you need to rebook within that time period, you are able to do this a maximum of 2 times
If you cancel altogether you will lose 100% of your deposit
If you don’t show up to your appointment you will lose 100% of your deposit
Deposits go towards the admin time spent, the appointment slot being held for you (and therefore unavailable to others), and the loss of ‘available’ exposure time online for the design you chose.

If you are overseas then yes, I can sell you tattoo designs!
Why only overseas?
As much as I’d love to travel and do guest spots all over the world, and do my designs on you in person, it’s simply not possible!
How then can I ensure people who want my original designs* are able to have them if I can’t get to them, or they can’t get to me?
I have created a system that allows for you to be provided with all you’ll need for your tattooist to make the stencil.
Contact me via email or Facebook ONLY, and let me know which of my designs you would like to buy. I’ll send you details of what you get and how!
Note: I only take payments for design purchases via PayPal using my legitimate email attached to my business – please don’t fall for scammers giving you bank details or asking for payment any other way!!
I have limited the amount of info on the process on here, as unfortunately there are people who are scamming real artists such as myself, and I need to protect you and my business.
Please contact me directly and we’ll go from there!
Other reasons I only sell overseas clients
• Traditionally people see travelling to their chosen tattoo artist as a pilgrimage of sorts. 99% of the time there’ll be a date that Uk clients can get to me for an appointment, and if I can be the one to tattoo my design on you then that is my preference.
• I want to keep the exclusivity of a Colly Bop design, and if they are spread throughout the world, their uniqueness can shine even more so on you!
*Each design is only sold 3 times to ensure it’s exclusivity remains

I do sell tattoo vouchers. But as I only do my own pre-drawn designs there has to be certainty that the person receiving the voucher actually wants one of my designs.
This part is a very important! Tattoo vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or go towards a booking with any other artists in my studio.
Once purchased, vouchers are valid for 1 year from that date.
Yep, I definitely want to buy a voucher!
Ok great!
Here’s what to do:
Contact me directly through email or Facebook messenger
Let me know the name of the person you want to gift the voucher to
The amount you want to put on the voucher
I will then make you a digital vouchers and send it to you via Facebook or email
You then gift this digital voucher to the lucky person!
I’m not 100% sure I want to buy a voucher…
If you’re not 100% sure whether to buy your lucky person a voucher, you can buy fun little cards that say “tattoo funds” on and you then pop the cash in.

We do have disabled access into the studio. We have a ramp which can be used to access through the front door and then up onto the raised floor inside the shop (1 step up). The toilet is not disabled access. If bringing someone with you in order to use the toilet is necessary that is absolutely fine
